We would like to inform you that Hakuba Village will introduce an accommodation tax effective from June 1st.
Please note that this accommodation tax is already included in your accommodation rate, and there will be no additional payment required during your stay.
In the event of a cancellation:
For reservations eligible for a partial or full refund, the accommodation tax is considered included in the refunded amount.
For cancellations made after the free cancellation period, only the accommodation tax portion will be refunded.
The accommodation tax is calculated per person, per night based on the room rate as follows:
Less than JPY 6,000: Exempt
JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 200 per night
JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 400 per night
JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 900 per night
JPY 100,000 and above: JPY 1,900 per night
This tax will be used to enhance local transportation services, improve tourist attractions, preserve the landscape and environment, and support tourism-related research and development within Hakuba Village.
