We require an experienced and qualified Head Chef for our in-house Western restaurant.
The restaurant serves buffet breakfast daily and a la carte dinner 6 nights per week. Breakfast is on a shift basis with the Sous Chef and caters for up to 65 guests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and manage menus
- Deliver high quality food preparation and presentation
- Manage all food safety requirements
- Order of all food and kitchen supplies
- Manage Sous Chef and kitchen staff
To be successful you will have:
- Trade qualified with extensive experience in a similar role in a hotel/resort
- Experience in menu planning, costing, stock control and staffing management
- High level of interpersonal, leadership and team skills
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
- Passion for creating international cuisine to a high standard
- Diligent, flexible, creative, confident and friendly attributes
